A cooling tune-up is a checkup of the air conditioner before it has to run for months. It is not a repair, and it is not a promise that nothing will fail later. Boost Air And Plumbing does this work from our Arlington and Grand Prairie shops.

What the cooling visit covers
We check the thermostat operation, the air filter, the condensate drain, the outdoor coil, and the electrical parts that fail most often in a long Texas cooling season: the capacitor, the contactor, and the fan motor amp draw.
Refrigerant is checked against the equipment specifications. If the charge is low, that is a leak to find, not a number to top off and ignore. We also look at temperature split so we know the system is actually cooling, not just running.
Why the timing matters here
Arlington equipment spends most of the year in cooling. A spring visit catches weak capacitors, dirty coils, and slow drains before the first string of 100-degree days. It does not replace a repair if the system is already down.
Heating maintenance is a separate visit. The furnace tune-up page covers ignition, the flame sensor, airflow, and the heat exchanger check we do before winter.
Maintenance plans
Boost Air Club is the membership already offered for one system at $9.99 a month or $99 a year. It includes the spring cooling visit and the fall heating visit for that system. Details are below.

Year-round care for one system: $9.99 a month, or $99 once a year. Spring and fall maintenance are included. A second system needs its own membership.
$49 service visit
Members pay $49 for a diagnostic instead of the regular $99 fee.
Spring maintenance
A cooling checkup before the Texas heat, included for the covered system.
Fall maintenance
A heating checkup before winter, included for the same system.
10% off repairs
Members receive 10% off the repair when something does break.
Priority scheduling
Club members are scheduled ahead of routine visits.
1-year labor warranty
Labor on covered work is warranted for one year. This is not a manufacturer parts warranty.
Membership does not replace a repair on a system that is already down. The diagnostic fee for non-members is $99 and is waived if you approve the repair.
